The Treatment
The treatment we all know as Botox® has now been formally approved for cosmetic use under a new name - VISTABEL® (meaning beautiful view!). Botox® and Vistabel® contain exactly the same tried and tested formulation, from the same manufacturer, Allergan.

How does it work?
A muscle relaxant is injected directly into the wrinkles, temporarily relaxing the facial muscles and preventing the formation of wrinkles and softening existing lines. This treatment has been used on over 1 million patients world-wide for more than 11 years and is supported by a wealth of long-term safety data.

How long will it last?
The treatment generally takes 5-8 days to work and last between 3-4 months (this varies from patient to patient depending on your strength of expression). With repeated treatments the effects tend to last longer over time.
